You're welcome. When you start a new job in Germany, you can choose the Bertelsmann BKK within 14 days. Registration with the BKK and information to your employer is sufficient. If you miss this deadline and are already insured in Germany, you have another opportunity to switch. 

  • Therefore you must have been insured with your previous german health insurer for 12 months. 
  • If so, you can register in August, the change will take place on November 1.
